Confetti Snow
In the bag: card, confetti
Place a small amount of confetti on fan blade and position elf with card. A little goes a long way here. This would also work with the confetti positioned in front of a stroller fan or box fan if you can’t reach your ceiling fans. Also, bedroom fans may be easier to get to than family rooms.
Hidden message
In the bag: invisible ink pen, card, paper
Leave a message with the invisible ink pen. I love you, clean your room, don’t forget to flush, etc. My kids are crazy hard sleepers, so I plan to write on their hands/arms, but the paper is there otherwise.
Elf Makes Snowflakes
In the bag: scissors, coffee filter snowflakes
If you’d like the elf to make a mess, just fold one up and make a couple extra snips! I dried to package these as delicately as possible, but if they are wrinkled a few hours under a book will flatten them out.
Honk If You Believe
In the bag: sign and tape
Tape sign to car window and position elf with tape roll. I just hung him by the handle above the window so he’d be visible from inside and out. My kids love when the elf makes a mess, so I plan to string a little extra tape around the car.
Yarn Maze
This one did not photograph well, but I just took the yarn and strung all around the living room wrapping around pillows, chair legs, etc. This was a favorite for my little one last year! She loved crawling through it!
Santa Photos
In the bag: Santa photos
Swap photos of Santa for family photos, or place in various locations around house. Could use extra washi tape from “Honk if you believe” night to stick on fridge, etc. if photo frames aren’t your thing!
Dancing Jingle Bells
In the bag: card, jingle bells, soda
Place soda in glass and have kids pour (or watch you pour) soda in. The jingle bells will move around! If you want to throw in a little science lesson, here is a link that explains density..

I plan to do multiple bathrooms. Phrases to use include:
Jingle Bells, your poop smells
Ho Ho Ho, Who needs to go
Let it FLOW, Let it Flow, Let it Flow
All I want for Christmas is POO
Hint: It is easier to write on the toilet paper while it’s rolled up than to peel it out.
